Berlinale and the SESB

Several classes from the SESB section take part each year in the Berlinale film festival. They see one of the films in English in the Generation 14+ category, which is interesting because the students have the opportunity of talking to the actors and director of their film.

In addition to the excitement of taking part in the Berlinale, the students also produce a project, which this year has included a visit to the Film Museum at Potsdamer Platz; a study of the history of German film-making; writing  a film script; producing a video/DVD and writing on various aspects of the Berlinale film seen by the students.
